Dress up with Grandma!

Today my mom dressed Pearce up in the halloween costume that she had bought her earlier in the year..... she did not get to wear it because of the weather and it did not fit very good (she was a lady bug instead!). So, she had a great time this afternoon and thought she was pretty special ... we were laughing pretty hard at her!! We think she will enjoy ballet classes one of these days !!

Pearce's Best Friend Sophia!!

PEARCE AND SOPHIA HAD A GREAT TIME PLAYING WITH EACH OTHER TODAY. THEY WERE SO CUTE AND TALKED IN THEIR OWN LITTLE LANGUAGE ... WE ARE STILL TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHAT THEY WERE SAYING. PEARCE IS LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING SOPHIA AGAIN SOON ... SHE HAS SOME NEW DANCE MOVES TO TEACH HER -- HA HA!!

Tonight Pearce was SO exhuasted she could not even eat her dinner. I think all the family and excitment of Christmas really caught up to her. She is now in DEEP DEEP sleep ....

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve we had a very nice dinner at my parents house. As you can see my uncle was very upset to watch Pearce while we went to church on Christmas Eve ... it looks like Pearce was really missing her mommy and daddy -- Ha Ha!!

Pearce is pulling up on everything and starting to take one hand off which scares me a little .... she falls all the time but is learning to deal with her pain! Mom is also learning to deal with the many falls that are just beginning. Dad seems to handle this much better ... for some reason when she looks at me the tears start rolling . Can anyone explain this??

Over the holiday Pearce also got her two front teeth. Once again, we are not exactly sure when they cut but they are there and looking quite pretty. So, she officially will have some teeth by her first birthday !!

The Cousins with Santa!

The Hinsdale Family stayed with us for a few days before Christmas and we had so much fun. The little girls had a blast and Pearce LOVED her cousins so much.We did have to wait for a while for Santa so Pearce got to enjoy her first carousel ride (I think dad had fun also !)and chow down at The Cheesecake Factory. Needless to say Pearce was entertained all day by Bates and Anna-Pearce.

We had a great time visiting Santa today at the mall . Pearce was really checking everything out very carefully but decided that this white bearded guy was pretty cool. She was adorable (if the mom says so herself) and laughed pretty hard at him. My parents came with us and I think they enjoyed the experience as well .


We are so excited for Christmas and look forward to being with our family. Fran and gang will be here on Friday ... followed by Matt's mom and Kevin Christmas eve ... followed by Aunt Amanda and Uncle Jarrod on Christmas Day -- little Pearce will have quite a crowd for her first Christmas. We hope you all have a wonderful Christmas with your friends and family!! We hope Santa is good to everyone!!

Pearce and Sophia at Lunch!

Today, Pearce had a GREAT time at lunch with her friend Sophia . I thought it would be neat to see how much both girls have already grown up ... they are so cute to watch interact with their baby talk. We look forward to many fun times with Sophia!! Hopefully Ryland can join us next time so the girls can fight over him :)

The New Visor !!

My advice to anyone who has kids is get one of these visors ASAP .... get your kids used to wearing it while they get their hair washed and your life will be so much easier. I am very lucky to have an older sister and mother who give me LOTS and LOTS of tricks which this is one of them .... it is AWESOME !! Also, you can see that Maggie has now decided that she wants to be involved in the bath as well -- its like having two children some days !! Even though there are MANY days I want to kill Maggie (today being one of them) she and Pearce are the best of friends and we just love to watch them interact!!
